Tanya is the newest to the group.  She owns the first recording of the Nenqayni Drummers and knows all the songs.  She joined in March 2003 during the recording of the new CD.  Tanya put her two cents into the CD by doing some of the sound effects and providing many props.  Once she heard the group sing, she wanted to be a part of the group.  This was easy, requirements to join the group:

*    You are a woman
*    Be clean and sober from alcohol and drugs
*    Be committed

She also plays bass for many bands including Heatseeker, an ACDC Tribute Band.  Tanya has played bass for many bands over the years.  So far being in the two groups has been working for Tanya.
